Bulletin of String Figures Association (1978-1993) - Published annually (in english) from 1978 to 1993 by the Japanese String Figure Association, Tokyo. The complete series consists of 19 numbered issues plus one supplement.
Bulletin of the International String Figure Association (1994-present) - Published annually by ISFA Press. Replaces Bulletin of String Figures Association. Approximately 200 pages per issue. Addresses the advanced enthusiast (anyone who has mastered the figures in C.F. Jayne's "String Figures and How to Make Them").
String Figure Magazine (1996-2007) - Published quarterly by ISFA Press. Each issue features dozens of annotated illustrations that allow even the most difficult string figure to be made with ease. Written for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts of all ages.
ISFA News (1995-2008) - Published semi-annually. The official newsletter of the International String Figure Association.
String Figure Bibliography (3rd edition, 2000) - Dr. Tom Storer's comprehensive survey of the string figure literature. Includes citations of over 1800 articles, books, and monographs. 150 pages.
Annotated String Figure Bibliography - On-line version of a work in progress. Richard Ratajczak, a special collections librarian in Australia, is currently examining the published literature on string figures and making notes about what each source contains. The titles assigned to each string figure in a given collection are also listed.
