A Pair of Trousers
(
Barrow to Coronation Gulf)

1.  Opening B.

2.  Pass 3, 4, and 5 proximally into the into the 2 loop and hook down 2n (fig. 92a).

3.  Raise 5 and push back 1n under 2f while releasing 3 and 4 from their loop. Hook  5 down over 2f and 2n (fig. 92b).

4.  5 picks up 1n and draws it back under 1f and over the the 2 loop (fig. 92c).  This is easiest to do if 4 is passed under 2f along side 5 and the 1n string pinched between 4 and 5 during the movement.

5.  R1 and R2 remove the L2 loop and place it on the end of L1 without any twisting (fig. 92d).  R1 and R2 reach down through the distal L1 loop and lift the proximal L1 loop through the distal loop and place it on L2 without any twisting. Release the remaining L1 loop (fig. 92e).

6.  Repeat step 5 on the RH but place the proximal R1 loop on L1 instead of R2 (fig. 92f and fig. 92g - steps A and B).

7.  Proximally transfer R5 to R1; proximally transfer L5 to R2 (fig. 92h).

8.  Touch the the tips of L1 and L2 and point them downward to display the figure, A Pair of Trousers, (fig. 92i).

9.   Remove L1 and L2 and reinsert them from above into their original loops at the points marked "X" in fig. 92j. Extend L1 and L2 to the left. You have formed The Man's Breeks, (fig. 92k).

10. Repeat step 9 for fig. 92k and you have formed The Scapulae, (fig. 92l).

11. Repeat step 9 again for fig. 92l and you have formed The Mittens, (fig. 92m).
