1.   Follow steps 1 to 5 of The Man and his Harpoon except exchange the 3 loops on the far side of the figure.

2.  3 picks up 1n and draws it back through the original 3 loop (fig. 89a - step A). Release 1 loop (fig. 89a - step B).

3.  1 distally removes 2 loop and 2 proximally enters 3 loop (fig. 89b - steps A and B). Spread 2 and 3 apart and you have formed A Small Platter (fig. 89c).
