| Man and Woman (Northern Alaska) 1. Do Steps 1 and 2 of The Two Hips. 2. With R1 and R2 reach distally through the 2 loop, grasp L5n and draw it through the 2 loop, then place it over L5 (fig. 85a - step A). Repeat on the right side. Hook 5 down toward you over 2f (fig. 85a - step B).
3. Inuit Ending. Release 2 loop forming fig. 85b, Man and Woman.
4. With R1 and R2 grasp L1n and remove L1 loop; proximally insert L234 alongside the L5 loop and grasp it in the LH. Extend carefully. This is fig. 85c, A Woman Standing Outside a House.
5. Reverse the movements of Step 4 to return to Man and Woman. Proximally transfer L1 loop to R2. Distally transfer L5 loop to L2. Distally transfer R5 loop to L1 on the near side of the figure. Point L1 away from the body and extend. This is fig. 85d - Man and the Woman Going away in Opposite Directions.
