The Phlegm
(Indian Point and Cape Prince of Wales)

1.  Make The Two Hips.

2.  2 picks up, from the far side, the string passing from the palmar string to the lower TV strings. 2 then does an Index Twist with the lateral section of the upper TV string (fig. 81a - step A). Carefully release 1 loop (fig. 81a - step B).

3.  On each side a small circular loop depends from the upper TV string. Pass 1, away from you, into this loop, press the lower string of the loop down until 1 is lower than the double lower TV strings, then pick these up on the back of 1 and draw them back through the circular loop (fig. 81b). Release both 5 loops, then proximally transfer 1 loops to 5 and close 5 to palms.

4.  Proximally transfer 2 loops to 1. 2 picks up, from the far side, the string passing from the palmar string to the lower TV strings.  2 then does an Index Twist with the lateral section of the upper TV string (fig. 81c).

5.  Carefully release 1 loop allowing a depending loop to form on each side of the figure. Pass 1 away from you into this loop (fig. 81d). Extend figure with 1 pointing down and 2 pointing up. This makes fig. 81e, The Phlegm. Cough, release the 1 loops, and extend the figure. The phlegm will fly around the figure.
