| . The Children (Inland Alaska and the Mackenzie Delta) 1. Do steps 1 to 3 of Snapping Off the Head. 2. 2 removes 5 loop. With R1 and R2 grasp L1n, and pull it through the RH loop (fig. 79a), which slips off. R1 and R5 enter the LH loop to form Position 1. Jerk your hands toward you to make most of the the former RH loop hang down over 1n. 3. Bend R2 over the string crossing from 1n to 5f, hook the palm of R2 over this string and return to position, rotating R2 away from you as you pick up this string (fig. 79b - step A). Bend L2 down into the figure, pass it on the near side of the string which hangs down from 5f, and pick up this string with the back of L2, rotating L2 half a turn away from you as you return it to position (fig. 79b - step B). Release 5 loop.
4. Proximally insert 345 into 2 loop and close them to the palm over 2n and 1f (fig. 79c).
5. Index Twist with 1n (fig. 79d).
6. Release 1 loop. A string crosses in front of each 2 loop, from 2n to 2f. Proximally pick up this string on the backs of 1 (fig. 79e), then release 345 loop.
7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 then repeat steps 4 and 5. Release 1 loop (fig. 79f - step A). release 345 and distally insert them into 2 loop (fig. 79f - step B). Enlarge the loops and extend the figure (fig. 79f). This is fig. 79g, The Children. Sway the strings back and forth; the children are playing on an ice keg. Snap the knot; the keg splits in two, separating the children.
