Two Brown Bears Issuing from Two Caves Below a Mountain
(Inland Northern Alaska)
1. Opening A.
2. Turn hands so palms face you. Distally insert 2345 into 1 loops from above, hooking
down all strings except the 1n (fig. 65a - step A). Turn hands down and flip 1n over your
hands so that it becomes a far hand string, situated below 5f (fig. 65a - step B).
3. Pass 1 over the near hand strings and under all other strings except the far hand
string; proximally pick up 5f and return to position (fig. 65b).
4. Slip 1 out of its loop and reinsert it from the opposite side. Rotate 1 down and away
from you under all strings, then proximally pick up the far hand string. Draw this string
back through 1 loops (fig. 65c).
5. Remove strings from the backs of the hands and let drop in the center of the figure
(fig. 65d). Separate hands to extend figure. This is The Two Caves Below a
Mountain (fig. 65e).
6. Drop 2 loops and separate the hands gently to get Two Brown Bears
Issuing from Two Caves Below a Mountain (fig. 65f).
