Two Small Seagulls
(Mackenzie Delta and Coronation Gulf)

1. Opening A.

2. Pass 1 away from you under all strings and return with 5f on the backs of 1 (fig. 63a).

3. Pass 5 distally through 2 loop and hook down 1f. Release 2 loops (fig. 63b).

4. There are two TV 1n strings, one of which has two strings looping over it to travel diagonally down to the bottom of the figure. Pass 2 towards you through the triangular space in the center of the figure and hook up the two diagonal strings just below   Return 2 to position through the triangular space (fig. 63c).

5. Bend 5 so they point away from you. There is only one 5 loop, and it is twisted. With 1 and 2, grasp opposite 5n, remove 5 from the loop, and reinsert 5 towards you through the straightened loop.

6. Proximally transfer 2 loops to 5, then Navajo 1 (removing the loop with a TV 1n). With each 5 hook the just-Navajoed horizontal string down through the 5 loops. This completes the figure; the extension is better if you twist 1n around 2 (as in the Caroline extension).
