The Two Mountain Sheep - Method 1
(Mackenzie Delta to Hudson Bay)

1.  Do Steps 1 to 5 of The Two Bull Caribou.
Transfer 1 loop to 2.  Insert 1 from the
near side into the space indicated in fig. 60a.

 

 

2.  Exchange 1 loops as follows: Proximally transfer L1 loop to R1 (fig. 60a). Proximally transfer proximal R1 loop only to L1, thus passing former L1 loop through former R1 loop (fig. 60b).

 

 

 

3.  Inuit Ending, then proximally transfer 1 loops to 2.

 

 

 

4.  There is now a downward pointing triangle in the center of the figure; the two sides of the triangle which angle down towards the bottom center consist of two strings, one passing in front of the figure and one passing in back. With each 1 pick up from below the string passing in front on its side of the figure (fig. 60c).

 

 

 

5.  L Katilluik and proximally transfer 1 loops to 2. This is The Two Mountain Sheep (fig. 60d).
