Two Bull Caribou
(Copper Inuit and Mackenzie Delta)

1. Opening A.

2. Proximally transfer 2 loops to 1. Distally transfer 5 loops to 1. Keep loops separated.

3. 5 pushes back the proximal 1f string and hooks down the two distal 1f strings (fig. 59a).

4.  There are three 1n strings: two of these are TV, and one travels diagonally to loop around the lower TV string in the center of the figure. One of the 1f strings also travels down diagonally to loop around the lower TV string in the center of the figure, creating a double "V". Pass 2 towards you between the strings of the double "V", then push back the upper (near side) strings of the "V" and hook down the upper of these two TV strings between the strings of the "V". Rotate the index fingers back to position with an Index Twist (fig. 59b).

5.  Release thumbs from all except the remaining TV string. Pass the 1n string once counterclockwise around L1 (fig. 59c).  R1 proximally enters the L1 loop (fig. 59d) . Inuit Ending.

6. Proximally transfer 1 loops to 2. Insert 1 from the near side into the space indicated in fig. 59e. 1 picks up the vertical string below the central transverse string (fig. 59e).  R Katilluik.

7. Proximally transfer 1 loops to 2 (fig. 59f - step A).

8. There is now a downward pointing triangle in the center of the figure; the two sides of the triangle which angle down towards the bottom center consist of two strings, one passing in front of the figure and one passing in back. With each 1 pick up from below the string passing in front on its side of the figure (fig. 59f - step B).

9. L Katilluik. As you Navaho the two shared 1 loops over the 2 loop during the katilluik, do not allow these to drop to the back of the figure! Instead, catch the two loops with 2 and 3 and rotate them 180 degrees to the rear and down (fig. 59g).   Distally slip the two loops (still shared) onto 3, and hold them there while you proximally transfer the single 1 loop back to 2 fig. 59h - step A. Rotate 1 down, pass it under the entire figure, then up into 3 loops from below (fig. 59h - step B. Release the loops from 3.   (This may be the single hardest move in this entire collection!)  Inuit Ending.

10. Once again, as in Step 8, there is a downward pointing triangle in the center of the figure (some adjustment of the strings may be necessary to reveal it).  The two sides of the triangle which angle down toward the bottom center consist of two strings, one passing in front of the figure and one passing in back. With 1 proximally pick up the string passing in front on its side of the figure (fig. 59i). Inuit Ending. Do not transfer 1 loops back to 2.

11. Carefully extend and examine the figure. On the front side of the figure a string loops vertically from the upper TV string to the lower TV string and then passes around to the back. Turn the palms away from the body and insert 2 and 3 (pointing towards the center of the figure) under that back string section as indicated in fig. 59j - step A) Turn the palms toward the body and catch the 1n TV string between 2 and 3  do an Index Twist. This completes the figure (fig. 59k).
