| Two Men Carrying Water Buckets (Mackenzie Delta, Coronation Gulf, and Cumberland Sound) 1. Opening A. 2. Bend 2 down over 2f and the 5 loops, then bring 2 towards you under 2 and 5 loops and insert proximally into 1 loops. With sides of 2, hook up 1n and rotate 2 back to position (fig. 56a - step 1). Release 1 loop (fig. 56a - step 2).
3. Pass 1 distally through lower 2 loop then under all remaining strings and return with 5f and 5n on the back of 1 (fig. 56b).
4. Bend 1 down over lower 2f and pass it distally through the diamond-shaped space in the center of the figure (fig. 56c).
5. Press down the new 1 loop and release it, then insert 1 in the same loop from the other (proximal) side (fig. 56d - step A). 6. There is a triangular space in the center of the figure, bounded by 5f and the two 1n strings. Bend L3 towards you under all strings and proximally insert L3 into this triangular space. With palm of L3 hook up 2n, pulling it through the triangular space and return to position, giving you a twisted L3 loop (fig. 56d - step B).
7. Bend L3 down towards you over all strings and hold it so the finger is pointing down on the near side of all strings. Grasp L3 loop with R1 and R2 withdraw L3, then distally insert R1 and L1 through this loop, then hook down each 1 through its own loop (fig. 56e).
8. Pass 1 under all strings, pass it distally into 5 loop, pick up 5f, and draw it back through the original 1 loop (fig. 56f). Keep 1 held down and pointing away from you.
9. A loop crosses each 1 loop above 1. Rotate 1 enough to proximally pick up the far string of this loop and draw it back through the 1 loop, which slips off (fig. 56g - step A. Release 2 loop (fig. 56g - step B) and extend. This is fig. 56h, Two Men Carrying Water Buckets.
