1.  Do Steps 1 to 3 of  The Duck.

2.  Bend 1 away from the body and down to straighten its loop. Keep it pointed away from you. Share 1 loops by proximally inserting L1 into R1 loop (fig. 55a), removing R1 from its loop and proximally inserting R1 beside L1 in both loops (fig. 55b).

3.  1, under all strings, proximally picks up 5f, and draws it back through the shared 1 loops (fig. 55c).  

4. Do steps 5 and 6 of The Duck.

 

 

5. Navajo the proximal two loops on 5 over the distal loop (fig. 55d).

 

 

 

 

6. Do step 7 of The Duck and extend. You have formed The Eagle (fig. 55e).
