The Scapulae
(Alaska to Coronation Gulf)

1. Opening A.

2. Pass 1 away from you under 2 loop and proximally into 5 loop. Return with 5n and 2f on the back of 1 (fig. 40a). Drop 2 and 5 loops.

3. Temporarily lift up the 1f TV string with 3 far enough to  hook it down through the other two 1 loops with 5 (fig. 40b - step A).

4. 2 distally picks up and removes the two non-TV 1n strings, leaving only the TV string on 1 (fig. 40b - step B).

5. Your figure should now resemble fig. 40c. Form a loop around L1 by rotating L1 one full turn toward the body, down, and back up.  Release R1 from its loop and proximally insert it in the L1 loop; extend.  Proximally insert 1 into the 2 loops; Navajo the lower two loops over the upper two  loops and release the loops from 2.

6. There are two TV 1f strings.  Proximally transfer one of these to 2, and spread 1 and 2 to display figure.
