Fish Nibbling at a Hook
(Copper Inuit)

Procedure is similar to that of The Spirit of the Lake.

1.  Position 1.

2.  R2 picks up L palmar string; extend.

3.  L2 hooks up L5n.  L2 over L1f picks up L1n and returns to position allowing the L5n to slip off L2 (fig. 37a).

4.  L1 rotates toward the center of the figure, close to the L palm and points downward.  L1,under all intermediate strings, picks up L5f and returns to position through the former L1 loop.  L1 hooks down L2n, releasing L5f. (fig. 37b).

5.  Follow steps 5 and 6 of The Spirit of the Lake.

6.  Release 2 and R5 loops. You now have loops on R1, L1 and L5. Rotate R1 a full turn away from you to untwist the loop. Insert remaining RH fingers into R1 loop from the opposite direction enlarging the loop. Extend.

Notes: This figure resembles Gordon's Lake Fish, though there are minor differences in procedure and architecture.
