1.  Position 1

2.  R3 hooks up the L palmar string. L3 hooks up the R palmar string through the R3 loop.

3.  2, under 3 loops and 5n, hooks up L5f.  2 over 1f picks up 1n and returns to position allowing 5f to slip off 2 (fig. 36a).

4. Follow steps 4 to 6 of The Spirit of the Lake   but using both L and R hands.

5. Release first the 3 loops, then the 2 loops, and extend.
