The Spirit of the Lake
(Point Barrow to Coronation Gulf)

1.  Position 1.

2.  R2 hooks up L palmar string; extend.

3.  L2, under L5n, hooks up L5f.  L2 over L1f picks up L1n and returns to position allowing L5f to slip off L2 (fig. 35a).

4.  L1 rotates toward the center of the figure, close to the L palm and points downward.  L1,under all intermediate strings, picks up L5n and returns to position through the former L1 loop.  L1 hooks down L2n, releasing L5n. (fig. 35b).

5.   L1 distally enters the L5 loop, picks up L5n and returns to position through the former L1 loop (fig. 35c).

6.  L1 rotates toward the center of the figure and points downward.  L1 picks up L2n at the point where it distally crosses the L1 loop (fig. 35d).

7.  Release 2 and R5 loops. You now have loops on R1, L1 and L5.  R1 rotates a full turn toward you, untwisting its loop.  Insert remaining RH fingers into R1 loop from the opposite direction enlarging the loop. Extend.
