The Dog Dragging the Sled
(Baillie Island)

1.  Make The Little Old Man. Proximally transfer Ll loop to L2. Insert Ll away from you into middle of figure immediately under the upper TV string and hook back the string marked "X" in in fig. 16a, then pick up L5f on the back of L1. Release L5 loop, then proximally transfer L1 loop to L5. This makes the "sled"  on the left side of the figure.

2.   Proximally insert R2 into R5 loop and pick up the string marked "X" in fig. 16b. Do a right hand side only Index Twist with R2 picking up Rln string and pulling it back through the R2 loop (fig. 16b - step A).

3.  Bend R1 down, keeping the finger still in its loop, then proximally pick up R5f  and pull it through the original loop (fig. 16b - step B). Release the R5 loop. R5 proximally removes the R1 loop from the far side to make the "dog" on the right side of the figure (fig. 16c).

4.  To dissolve the figure, Insert Ll into the middle of the figure immediately above the 5f TV string marked "X", and hook it down to the left palm, then release L5 and extend. The dog has broken its trace, the sled speeds away and the dog is left holding the broken trace.
