The Swan

1.  Steps 1 to 3 of A Man Hanging by the Neck.

 

 

2.  R1 proximally enters the R2 loop, rotates downward, and catches up the two diagonal strings just below it. Point R1 upward (fig. 147a). L1 enters the R1 loops from below (fig. 147b). Inuit Ending.

 

 

 

 

 

3.  Two strings pass horizontally across the far side of the figure near the center. R2 catches up those two strings from the far side from below. R2 then distally enters the R1 loop, passes downward on the near side of the figure and behind the 5f TV string between the two crossing loops (fig. 147c). 

 

 

 

 

4.  R2 catches up the 5f TV string and draws just it to the far side of the figure (fig. 147d).  

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.  Release the L5 loop. L5 proximally enters the R1 loop, distally removes the R2 loop, and returns on the near side of the figure (fig. 147e). Extend and the long neck of The Swan will jump upward (fig. 147f).
