The Dog and Its Ordure
(Mackenzie Delta)
The Bird and Its Noose
(Coronation Gulf)

1.   Position 1.

2.  Opening A, except L2 picks up R palmar on the far side of the R2 loop.

3.  Proximally transfer 2 loop to 1. Distally transfer 5 loop to 2.

4.  5 hooks down 2n through both 1 loops.

5.  Index Twist, and Navajo 1 loops.

6.  R Katilluik, then proximally transfer 1 loop to 2.

7.  Locate the two strings marked "X" in fig. 11a.   Pass R1 away from you under 2n and over these two strings, then pick them up on the back of R1 and return to position.

8.  Proximally insert L1 into R1 loop then proximally insert 1 into 2 loop (fig. 11b).  Navajo the two proximal 1 loops over the distal 1 loop (fig. 11c - step A). Release 2 loop (fig. 11c - step B).

9.  Bend R2 down, on the far side of the figure, and hook up the double horizontal strings that run across the back of the figure (fig. 11d). Distally pass R2 through the R1 loop, then down in front of the figure, and hook up the 5f TV string between the two loops that pass around it. Draw R2 with the 5f string back through all the loops to the far side of the figure (fig. 11e).

10.  Insert the R2 once again from above into the R1 loop. Release L5 loop. L5 passes to the right under all strings, then distally enters the loop around R2 (which is pointing down through the R1 loop), and remove this loop from R2 (fig. 11f - steps A and B).

11.  Close L5 to the left palm and separate hands to extend the figure (fig. 11g).
