The Owl and the Fox
(Copper Inuit)

1.  Opening C.

2.  Bring the hands together, right palm up and left palm down. R2 distally hooks up the L1-L2 dorsal string (fig. 101a - step A). L1 releases its loop and distally picks up the R1-R2 dorsal string lifting it clear of R2 (fig. 101a - step B). Extend.

3.  L1 proximally picks up L2n. Navajo L1 loops (fig. 101b - step A). Release L2 and R1 loops (fig. 101b - steps B and C).

4.  L2 passes, from the far side, through the space indicated in fig. 101c, hooks up 5f from the far side and returns (fig. 101c - step A). Release L5 loop (fig. 101c - step B).

5.  L5 passes proximally through the L1 loop then distally into the L2 loop and hooks down L2f (fig. 101d - step A).  Release L2 loop (fig. 101d - step B) then extend and adjust the strings forming The Owl (fig. 101e). Inserting R3 proximally into the R2 loop will improve the figure.

6.  Release L5, distally grasp the L1 string in the LH, and extend forming The Fox that frightened the Owl away (fig. 101f).
